וַ֠יִּרְאוּ כָּל־אִ֨ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל אֲשֶׁר־בָּעֵ֙מֶק֙ כִּ֣י נָ֔סוּ וְכִי־מֵ֖תוּ שָׁא֣וּל וּבָנָ֑יו וַיַּעַזְב֤וּ עָרֵיהֶם֙ וַיָּנֻ֔סוּ וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים וַיֵּשְׁב֖וּ בָּהֶֽם׃ (ס)
A gdy wszyscy mężowie Izraelscy, którzy byli w dolinie, ujrzeli, że [Izrael] uciekł, a Saul i jego synowie umarli, opuścili swoje miasta i uciekli; i przyszli Filistyni, i mieszkali w nich.
I Samuel
When the men of Yisroel saw—those who were on the other side of the valley and on the other side of the Yardein—that the men of Yisroel fled and that Shaul and his sons were dead, they abandoned their cities and fled. The Philistines then came and settled in them.
